World of Tethys

World of Tethys · The Peoples

Peoples & Factions

Five ways to survive the same world. The ledger counts, the canopy climbs, the roots remember, the water hides, and the plains move. Power flows along the rivers between them.

Sky City

New Tethysia · The Ledger

Sky City

A vertical civilization run on math. The Spire Architects and the Triumvirate hold the Cohab Code over every breath at altitude — and suppress the Root-Walker bondline to keep the ground a myth.

Domain · Terraces of the Ordovic intake — greenhouse tiers and turbine raceways.

“Counts blood as law and calls it order. Height is sanctuary and cage.”

The Ironwoods

Canopy-Adapted · Riverholds

The Ironwoods

Canopy dwellers of the 60-metre emergent platforms, dependent on the Danian flood pulse for masting cycles and river-raft trade. They remember a world before the Spire.

Domain · Araucarian megaforest; log-raft markets along the braided Danian.

“Height is earned in timber, not stone. The roots keep the older law.”

The Mystics · Kith

Root Whisperers · Flow-Gates

The Mystics · Kith

Custodians of the Danian headwaters and the mycorrhizal Kith network. Ravel walks among them. They ritualize the timing of flood and bloom — and map bad ideas with good timing.

Domain · Danian headwaters sancta; river shrines and seasonal flood gates.

“The roots answer those who listen and refuse those who command.”

The Silurians

Aquatic Lineage · Estuary Stakes

The Silurians

An aquatic-adapted hominid lineage — dense bone for bottom-walking, drifted nares for surface breath, bone-conduction hearing for the Earth-Tune. They hold the tidal gates of the brackish estuary.

Domain · Danian splits — stilted wetland towns, tidal locks, brackish nurseries.

“The water is not a border. It is the house.”

The Thals

Titan-Walkers · The Bond

The Thals

Migratory bond-folk of the golden plains. Mammoths anchor the pattern, sabre cats run the flanks, and Igzier’s lineage traces back to the rim of their territory. The bond is strongest here.

Domain · The Amber Plains; pumice-lane access to the open-sea mixing zone.

“Borrowers, not conquerors. The animals set the route; the Thals follow.”
